How can the translation be ordered to you?
The request for translation or interpretation can be ordered by fax, e-mail, by post, courier or you can use our order form.
The application must contain the following mandatory data:
• Name of applicant (for legal entities – company name);
• mailing address (for legal entities – address, also Unique Identity Code, VAT number or tax number);
• mailing address, if different from the address of the applicant;
• contact person;
• from and what language the translation should be carried out;
• term od execution and delivery date;
• method of delivery (e-mail, fax, mail, courier, etc.);
• information whether the translation is intended for publication (it is advisable to give this information!);
• other specific data regarding the translation (formatting, request for preservation of the graphic processing etc.).
What are the ways of transmission of the text for translation?
The texts you can send e-mail, fax, mail, bring them personally or by courier. You can also use the order form.
What are the methods of delivery of the completed translation?
Depending on your requirements and opportunities we can send the copleted translation by email, fax, printed on paper and disk by post or by courier or you can personally pick up the translation from our office.
What are the terms of delivery?
The deadlines for the translation will be determined according to your needs so that in a very short period of execution to ensure a high quality of translation. In translations prepared by a translator the capability of one interpreter should be considered 6-8 standard pages per day. In case of a large-scale projects, when the translation process needs and involves more translators, the number of standard pages a day can be increased several times.
What means regular, quick and express order for translation?
Express order means producing the translation within 12 hours after its receipt.
Quick order means producing the translation within 24 hours after its receipt.
Regular order means producing the translation within 3 working days of receipt.
In all types of orders applied a rule: the number of translated pages does not exceed 6 standard pages a day.
In Regular and Quick Orders the day of receipt of the order does not included in the duration of the term for translation.
What is your working hours?
Normal working hours of the office: 09.30-18.00 Monday – Friday, Days Off :Saturday and Sunday.

What methods of payment?
Depending on your options and preferences you can arrange the payment for services provided in cash at the office or by bank transfer to the accounts of the company. A tax invoice will be issued in accordance of VAT Tax Act. . „LANEX Group“ Ltd. is a VAT registered company.
How do you calculate the cost of translation?
The Offer price is calculated based on a standard page. The exact number of standard pages, rounded to two decimal places, shall be multiplied by the price per page of translation of the given language combination, specified in our price list.
What is a standard page?
One standard page contains 1800 characters, which means that a standard page contains 30 lines per page and 60 characters per line. Under number of characters means the sum of all letters, numbers and other characters, including spaces that contain the text you have provided for translation.
How early should be ordered interpretation?
Interpretation can be ordered and carried out only in sufficient advanced time.
Consecutive and simultaneous interpreting – 14 days in advance.
Of course, we are able to provide you with an interpreter and up to 24 hours.
Do you offer discounts?
Reductions to offer prices to our customers depend mostly on the volume of the text. We offer special discounts for regular customers.
What languages you translate and what language combinations you have?

Is it possible to prepare a translation while maintaining the graphical layout of the original?
It is not necessary to declare in advance the preservation of uniform formatting of this translation of the original text, this condition is part of every translation. According to customer requirements „LANEX TRANSLATOR“ is able to prepare a translation of the text with automatically or manually inserted pictures, charts, or diagrams.
In what electronic format you can run a translation?
Since we have a wide range of software products we offer processing the translated text in the most widely used formats such as:
MS Word (95, 97, 2000, 2007, 2010), Adobe PageMaker, PDF format, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, Adobe FrameMaker, Word Perfect, QuarkXPress and others.
When needed, we can provide a more specific formatting.
What is simultaneous interpretation?
In simultaneous interpretation the translation process into the target language follows simultaneously the speech of the speaker, for example. conferences. This type of interpretation as a rule requires a special interpreting equipment and at least two interpreters.
What is consecutive interpretation?
In consecutive interpreting the interpreter is listening a brief part of the speech of the speaker, which is then is translating into the target language. This type of interpretation is used most often in workshops with a limited number of participants.
Do you edit already completed translations?
Yes, we make the following proofs:
stylistic markup – concerns stylistic and linguistic proofreading of translations of Bulgarian or foreign language;

What is the difference between certified and legalized translation?
The certified translation consists of the original document and the translation text, printed on official letterhead of the company, signed by a sworn translator who has declared in writing accuracy of the translation, and stamped with the seal of the translation company.
Legalized translation represents a certified translation, which is equipped with certifications and stamps of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria, as well as all state institutions and foreign diplomatic and consular missions prescribed by law depending on the type of document.
What is a certified translation (or too translation by a sworn translator, official translation, authorized translation and below.)?
The certified translation of the document consists of the source language and its translation in the target language. The whole document is bound, signed by a certified translator and stamped with the seal of the translation company.
Can you provide a notarized copy / copy of the document?
Yes, we offer this service and thus save your time spent waiting in front of the notary office. To provide notarized copy we need only the original of your document.
Can you make a verification on the completed translation, which I will represent to you?
Yes, if it meets all the requirements for the certified translation and if our sworn translator agrees with the translation.
What are the standards for quality translation?
Quality translation expresses the content and style of the source text, while overcoming language and cultural barriers that occur between author and reader of the text, so that the translation of the text to fulfill its communicative purpose and the target language.
How high quality translations?
Since 2009 the company has developed and maintains a System of Quality Management for European Standards ISO 9001: 2008 and DIN EN 15038: 2006-2008. Each of our translations is the result of close cooperation between the translation expert, translator and proofreader. The translation is always done by a translator – a specialist in a given subject area of text that primarily monitor the adequacy and consistency in terminology respect. The finished translation goes to the proofreader to monitor whether the translation is complete and correspond to the source text. Do you guarantee the confidentiality of the information contained in texts to be translated and that, possibly obtained during the interpretation?
Yes, in accordance with the Translation Execution Contract Treaty, in general terms, our company is obliged to ensure the confidentiality of any data acquired in this process.The Contract with its terms and conditions is a part of every order for translation. On the other hand our translators are obliged to respect the secrecy of information in accordance with their cooperation agreement with us under signed by each of them notarized statement.
Do you envisage extending the working languages?
Yes, in March 2014 we opened an office in Tbilisi, Georgia, which offers translations from / on 20 extremely rare Asian languages. We are standing in front of the development of internal software adaptation of all company working languages with focus on two basic languages: English and Russian.
